The goods and Service Tax (GST) will go up to 7% in one step, and it will happen on July 1.
That's not a good news as this would mean that we will have to pay more money whenever we buy something. What is this. Its unfair loh, especially to the foreign people living in Singapore...
It will be raised to 7% in one go. But thank godness, there are also some measures to it. In the sense that the government will also give some benefits such as WAGE BOAST for lower-income earner. There were also 90% subsidy for kindergarden fees and more $ for childcare centres. Besides, if we want to further our studies, we are allowed to get 80% fee subsidy.
YOU see all these benefits, it may be beneficial to Singaporeans and PRs but not for foreign people.
