Last sunday, I did not really complete my story regarding the SLs camp. Even though it was just a 2D1N camp in teh school, most of the SLs including the sec 4 also cannot take it. Actually, it was not tough at all lor. I have to admit that I am not very strict and stern with u guys, but at least I tried. First of all, I would like to comment on the Games Committee, Sheikh, Zufadi and Louis. All three of u have done a great job on planning all these games for the sec 3 SLs. It was fun.
For the Evening Telematch Games, I am impressed by what Zufadi and some of his Games members have set up the equipments such as the caterpillar, and also there was a game called the Dark Tunnel, where one of the sec 3 SLs will have to lead his/her group members who were blindfolded to go through all the route in one of the classroom. Great Job, Zufadi!
For the Night Activty, thank you very much, Louis and some of his members for the Night Walk including myself, ha! Well, even though the route was not scary, but I can see the hardwork that the games com people have planned. Especially, there was one station inside the girls'toilet near the DNT block. So far, the first day was going on very smoothly...
The person that I wanted to thank most was Sheikh. He was the one, together with his team to plan the Empower Quest at Orchard Road. I like his fantastic ways of doing all the station games, like Caterpillar, Ping Pong Ball, Ask for Birthday date, Ask for the size of the shoes, etc... It was very unique.
Also, the team that came 1st for the Empower Quest was 'Eagle' which was Jian Yang and Shu Hui 's group. Well done!
Thank godness that day did not rain, no thunderstorm, lucky for me, haha! Nothing is perfect, even though the sec 4 SLs have planned everything nicely, there will still be some mistakes, but it's not amajor one.
Logistics com, well done, u all have done a great job in consolidating all the passwords and logistics items needed for the camp. Thanks (Sean, Hui Min, Daphne, and Arif) If I have forgotten to put any one of ur name, can u please tell me asap, thanks!
Food com also, great job man! Like one of the SLs saying goes, "No Food, No SLs" Haha!
Before I finished, I would like to thanks all the sec 4 SLs, SLs teachers and also the sec 3 SLs. Without u guys, the camp will not run very smoothly. Don't worry so much, I will try to learn to be firm, stern and strict next time.
Being a leader, there isn't a need to be strict on the people, all he/she have to be is to know how to pretend to be firm and stern. Sometimes, a leader do not always have an answer. All he can do is to consolidate all the other people's answer and change it to a PERFECT ANSWER!
This is the first time I write such a long reflection.
