Today I attended the Venture Era Seminar and the IAC(Inner Associates Challenge).
The whole event last about 2 hours plus from 7pm to almost 9plus.
I really enjoyed this whole event.
Besides, this is my first time attending such an event.
It was fabulous.
Everybody was so hyper and enthu about it.
I see new faces, experienced people.
I see alot of managers from Marketing Manager to Business Manager to Business Group Manager.
Then lastly, we got our special guests, Mr Kit Tan, Mr Steven Ho and Mr Dewey Ho, our Associates Team leader.
I admired the way they present themselves.
Especially during the ICA.
These three prominant people debate among themselves, regarding the sales, the promotions, and etc.
Although it was a friendly debate, the way they shoot each associates was impressive.
They didn't use any difficult words or vulgarity.
They only make use of certain words that have meaning behind it to shoot.
It was fun.
They were super alert as in how to counterback immediately after another party have commented.
The winner for last month sales was DHA(Dewey Ho Associates).
Followed by SHA(Steven Ho Associates).
I am in KTA(Kit Tan Associates).
Although we didn't clinch the top, it was a good efforts that everyone have put in.
I admired these people.
I have also viewed the presentation for the slide show.
It was fantastic.
Seriously, I wasn't exaggerating.
I see people collecting their badges.
From Sales Agent to Marketing executive.
Then from Marketing Executive to Marketing Manager.
I see these people work extremely hard to get it.
Some were very lucky.
They can close many deals in less than a week.
Some took months to make it to Marketing Manager.
How long will I take to become that.
I saw Willie(my ex schoolmate in secondary school).
He is going to be promoted next month to Business Manager.
Then I saw Desmond, he is also going to be promoted to Marketing Executive.
Haiz, if I have joined him earlier, I will be somewhere around there.
I see everyone grows and improved.
After attending this seminar, I am super motivated to do well in this business.
For your info, this is not a job.
It's a business.
Some people don't believe.
I don't blame them.
I blame myself for not able to convince them.
Tomorrow I got an appointment with Mdm Rozi in school early in the morning.
I know the possibility of closing a deal is hard.
But I am going to try my very best to close it.
In this business, I realised one important thing.
When you are doing business, you are not doing it because you want to kill time.
You are not doing it because you want to earn more money.
This "Wellness" business is being set up in Singapore is to help people,
realise how health is important to us.
Yes, I agree some may say why should we trust you.
The thing is do you give us a chance to explain, to present, to do a demo for you?
Do you give yourself a chance to even try the product.
You never try, you never listen, you never see.
How can you judge by saying is not good, is fake one.
How can you think this way.

I believe I can do well in this business.
And I am going to somehow or what do well.
I heard one of a female who is now 17 years old.
She's been doing this business for 9 months.
And now she achieved her Marketing Manager badge.
She shared with us that she is going to hit Business Manager by end of this year.
She is going to earn 1 million before she turns 19.
I was totally impressed by her.
She have such an impossible dreams.
But she believed in it.
The result may not show in short terms.
But in long terms, after working hard for 9 months, she finally become a manager, at the age of 17.
She is thinking really far and planning for it.
I believed she can do it.
She have 17 appointment in her first month, and out of this, none were closed.
She didn't stop.
She press on.
I believe I can do it too.
I want to ask my brothers to join me.
But they don't want.
Sometime I was thinking.
They don't have to join me.
But can they give me a chance to meet them at eunos to tell them about the business plan.
No.
They didn't.
I will still try again to ask them to come down.
Even if they don't want to join at the end of the day, I am still satisfied because I have done my best to ask them come down and talk to them.
But the thing is that they don't even give me this chance.
I have apologized to Desmond.
I now understand his feeling.
He want us to do well, yet we think negatively.
I want my brothers to do well.
They said is impossible.
How do you know this is impossible?
Have you listened to my plan?
I know Eunos may be far.
But imagine one day, there is a Gold Mine in Pasir Ris.
Do you mind traveling all the way down to take as much as you can.
Distance is not the problem.
Is the mindset.
I just need you guys to give me a chance.
We always like to say, we are brothers.
But sometime when I think of it.
Even asking you guys to come down to Eunos to listen to the plan.
You guys don't even bother to come.
Some said if nobody comes, then I also don't want to come.
Can I ask, am I invisible?
Even if nobody comes, I will still be there to guide you.
What are your afraid of.
Yes, I will try to ask your guys to join me.
But if you guys really don't want, at least come down to Eunos and listen to my plan.
What are brothers for?
Is it just a name by itself?
Do we shared thick and thins?
Yes, we shared our thick together.
But when either one of us have problem, everyone move aside.
What is this?
I am just asking you people to come down and listen.
Don't have to buy anything or do anything.
Just listen.
This kind of simple task, you guys can't even help me.
My manager told me one thing in which is true.
If I can't even convince my brothers that this business can do well.
How am I going to convince others?
How am I going to convince others to buy my products?
Some even said after I hit a certain sales, then he might consider.
The thing I want to ask, why must you wait until I hit.
Does this mean that if one day I got a job that can earn 1 million dollars.
Are you going to wait for me to earn that, before you consider.
By then, isn't it too late.
Why do you guys always have to wait.
I am not forcing you all to join.
Just like for instance, if I have a story I want to write and then publicise.
I need someone to read for me and give me feedback.
How would you feel if people pour you cold water.
Say your story cannot make it.
Say don't waste your time.
They don't even bother to give you a chance to explain.
How would you feel.
How would you feel if one day, you need help, and nobody even cares about you?
How will you think of brothers?
How would you feel if one day, you want us to invest on your business or something.
Then we reject without even giving you a chance to explain.
Instead we pour cold water, say cannot make it lah.
How will you feel.
So that's what I am feeling now.
I feel we are no longer brothers.
If this business cannot make it.
Why nobody trust me?
Have I dissapoint anyone before?
Can I be so stupid to even join in and ask you guys to listen.
If I treat you all as my brothers, will I want to telll you guys about this business.
If I want to earn more for myself, I wouldn't bother to tell you guys.
I want to be rich in future.
I also want you guys to be rich.
Unless you tell me you have a back up in future to support you.
Other than that, are you able to be successful in future.
Some will say I confirm can.
If so, can you tell me how you going to achieve it.
Words with no actions are just bullshit.
Don't be too naive.
Don't be too childish.
Some are turning 18 soon.
Some are going to be 17.
We are going to be adult one day.
You people don't have childhood isit?
I want you guys to be successful, that's why I am telling you guys.
I need you guys to wake up!
For godness sake, think of your future.
Are you going to be successful.
This business is an opportunity.
People who are lazy, please wake up.
Seriously, I am not going to help anyone who don't even help himself.
People who are lazy now, next time they ask me for help.
I will say one thing.
"Who are you? Do I know you? Why should I help you?"
People who still have the 'kid' mindset, please wake up.
When you shoot people, think about yourself.
Do you have the rights to shoot.
Do you know people are shooting behind you.
Just that you don't know only.
Wake up MAN!

Do you want to come down and give me a chance to explain my plan?
If you don't want, is ok.
I can understand.
You don't have to come down as a whole group.
Can come down alone also can.
